This is how we work with your data and what the calculations are based on.

My account

This is where all your data is stored. Every new evaluation receives its data from here.

Duties

By uploading your duty plans, log books and other files you can let us extract your duties into our database automatically. We don't store your uploaded files and erase the immediately after processing. Additonally, you may enter events manually and alter or erase saved duties. Changes of your duty database here will not affect your purchased evaluations.

Travel profiles

The travel profiles represent a summary of your career. We save homebases, residencies, commute patterns, duty lodgings and travel preferences. Please add a travel profile for every major change of one of these components, e.g. change of homebase, relocation or a different duty lodging. Every profile may be altered or deleted individually.

Preferences

For our caculations you need to answer a couple of general questions. The answers are saved in your profile and maybe altered at any point.

Travel expenses

You may register your tax-free reimbursed travel expenses either manually or through our automation.Like duty plans, these files will not be stored. The extracted information will be saved in our database and can be deleted at any time.

Evaluations

When you purchase an evaluation a duty snapshot of the relevant period will be drawn from the database. Your travel profiles will be used to calculate the corresponding journeys and all this information will be stored separately. You may alter events in your evaluation, but this does not affect your duty database.

Calculation

The calculation of your evaluation happens on-the-fly using the duty and journey events in your evaluation and the preferences and travel Profiles. If you want to compare different preferences, you may build export versions (pdf/xml) to fixate the results at any given time.

We store your data in two places.

Your account coontains:

all your duty events
your travel profiles
your preferences
your reimbursed travel expenses

In your evaluations, the following data is stored:

duties of the evaluation period at the time of purchase and all subsequent changes
journeys to your workplaces
additional journeys as entered by you
export files

Your calculation is based on the duties in your evaluation and the travel profiles and calculation preferences in your account.
